We are two couples from Singapore in our 60s and 70s who enjoy wine, food, and cultural travel. Over the years, we have visited many of the world’s renowned wine regions.

In late May and early June 2026, we travelled through some of France’s most famous wine destinations, including Bordeaux, Hermitage Hill, Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu in the Rhône Valley, Burgundy and Chablis, and the Champagne region. We worked with Martin Hurst, Co-Founder of The Bordeaux Concierge, to plan the trip about five months before our departure. We shared a list of wineries and regions we hoped to visit, and Martin did an outstanding job creating a smooth and memorable itinerary. His deep knowledge of the regions and strong relationships with wineries helped us gain access to many prestigious estates. He also took care of the accommodations, transportation, winery appointments, and restaurant recommendations, making the entire trip stress-free and enjoyable. What we appreciated most was Martin’s ability to understand our interests and travel style. He created an itinerary that balanced famous wineries with unique local experiences, while allowing enough time to relax and enjoy each destination.
